Sacred Valley - Aguas Calientes

On this day, you'll visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The first place you'll see is the archaeological center of Pisac. You'll walk through its fabulous craft market and visit the famous archaeological site that was an astronomical center in Inca times. Later, you'll travel to Urubamba to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch and have the opportunity to sample the local products of the Sacred Valley.

Afterwards, you'll arrive in Ollantaytambo to visit its archaeological center. Finally, we'll transfer you to the train station to reach Aguas Calientes, where one of our assistants will be waiting to take you to your hotel.

Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu

In the morning, you'll take the bus to Machu Picchu. Once you reach your destination, you'll have a guided tour of the citadel. You'll learn about the history and architecture of the building and appreciate all its majesty. We'll reserve for you the best circuit to visit the most important places within the complex. We recommend you book in advance to have the best view. After the tour, you'll have time for lunch. In the afternoon, you'll board the train back to Ollantaytambo, where we'll be waiting to take you to your hotel in Cusco.

MARAS - MORAY

We will explore the beautiful salt mines of the city of Maras and the archaeological center of Moray, main attractions of the city of Cusco. Our transport will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at 7:30 in the morning and we will continue our trip to Moray, the Inca laboratory for the research of agricultural products.

Then we will go to Maras, where we will visit the famous salt mines, and learn about the surprising ingenuity and skill of the Incas in the extraction of this mineral, known as "the white gold of the Andes". ¹ Afterwards, we will return to Cusco, on the way back we will make a visit to the textile center of Chinchero

HIKE TO THE RAINBOW MOUNTAIN

We will start the day very early, since the road to the Rainbow Mountain is long. You will travel to the district of Cusipata, where you will enjoy breakfast. Then you will begin the hike that lasts about 2 hours, but the reward is to appreciate the majesty of the mountain that has 7 colors, like the rainbow. There are only 2 other places in the world with this landscape. Visit the Rainbow Mountain in the company of our specialized guide. During this trip, we will also visit the communities of Chillca and Vinicunca, where you can see llamas and alpacas.

HOTEL - AIRPORT

This day you will have breakfast at the hotel; at the appropriate time, we will take you to the airport for your departure flight, thus concluding your 6-day Machu Picchu and Rainbow Mountain Tour.
